DURHAM, N.C. – The Mount Zion  basketball teams tips off the 2016-17 season on Friday, Oct. 28  at 7:30pm with the  annual Maroon & Gold Extravaganza.

“ Maroon & Gold Extravaganza "has been highly successfull and we are excited to start this season with another terrific event,” said  AD Coach Don Fozard “The start of the basketball season is always special, and surely, this will be a great experience for our players, parents and fans alike. We are looking forward to taking the floor in the Family Life Center and getting the 2016-17 season underway in an exciting fashion.”

 Maroon & Gold Extravaganza will feature live music,   live performances and on-court contests as well as the annual Maroon &White  scrimmage games that will feature all boys & girl teams.

Doors open at 6:45 pm and Event starts at 730 pm ,Tickets are $7.00 .
